'At Home' Photograph by Glen Sloane
| En plein air is a French expression which means "in the open air" and described as the act of painting outdoors. Early impressionist painters such as Monet, Pissarro, and Renoir advocated en plein air painting.
For years, Sherie Sloane has been painting beautiful landscapes, people and events from different countries on the spot. Her brushes and paints go with her as she travel to capture the world's magnificent sceneries and subjects. Oftentimes, the palette of colors in the skies are the first to seize her imagination, prompting her to paint exceptional works of art.
